“Jeffrey Bernard Is Unwell”

The late, great British columnist Jeffrey Bernard, a notorious alcoholic, often was too hungover to write his column, causing the magazine to post a “Jeffrey Bernard is unwell” notice where his prose would normally go.

I have had more than a touch of flu the last couple of days and have been remiss in posting.
